Venezuelans Getting Sick of Liberal's Hero Hugo Chavez

More protests in Venezuela against socialist wackjob and hero of America's left wing, Hugo Chavez. Chavez, as is well documented, is a socialist dictator who is idolized by liberals in our nation even as he destroys democracy and attempts to push himself into being a hardcore dictator while seeking to ally himself with nations who seek to undermine American security issues, Iran, and Russia, for example. Well, surprise, surprise, the Venezuelan people are sick of his anti-freedom, pro-socialist policies that have been hailed by many a Democat. Some of these policies you may recognize as being platforms of America's "Progressive Caucus" which is running the Democrat Party and has found their way onto Obama's platform:

"We said in the referendum that we didn't want that, and now he's put it in the decrees," said protester Josefina Bravo, a 59-year-old who wore a sticker reading "No means no" on her baseball cap. "That's the problem we have: All the powers are concentrated in the president."

One decree establishes a civilian militia that critics warn could emulate the citizen groups that control many aspects of community life in Cuba. Another gives Chavez the ability to designate regional authorities who critics say could undermine the power of locally elected officials.

Other decrees empower Chavez to expropriate goods from private businesses and increase state control over food, punishing business owners who fail to comply with price controls or other regulations with fines, closure and even 10-year prison terms.

A concentration of power within the federal government, the ability of the government to set price controls, redistribution of wealth, a gigantic bureaucracy, cracking down on the power of local governments which allows for greater control by the people, these are all things the left endears. The American left has different means to this end, such as eliminating the right to a secret ballot in order to force workers to form unions, who have pledged to fuel the Liberal machine with newly enforced and collected union dues. If workers want to unionize, that's fine, but the right a secret ballot is paramount to a democracy. This sort of thuggery and intimidation has no place in America.

Let me conclude by commending the people of Venezuela for standing up for the rights. We ought to stand tall with them, American foreign policy needs to strongly stand for freedom and condemn actions by nations that suppress the rights of people and continue to oppress them. One of the questions you should ask yourself as we head into a new round of elections is whether the person you intent to cast your vote for will actually stand up and speak loudly against the actions of these types of offenders.

Do some Google searches, check Daily Kos (the moonbat lunatics who you can practially see pulling Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid's strings), look at all the idiot liberals in Hollywood who love Hugo Chavez. Don't fool yourself, Obama is no centrist, he's a hardened leftwing politician who has already pledged to go after private industries and have the government seize their profits, like Chavez. You really ought to read up on his plan to pay off other thugs and corrupt nations through his global tax plan that puts to focus on giving away our tax dollars to the United Nations to help "rebuild" America's image. This is the man's politics. That's why, even today, he bad mouthed America to a young child.

Freedom is our greatest asset in our daily lives, it's time we stop pissing it away by handing power to socialist style big government politicians. About six months ago I thought Hillary Clinton was extremely to left in American politics. Thanks to Barack Obama, I now know that she was centrist in her party as evidenced by just how far to left Barack Obama's political views are. Obama can go through the motions and give his little speeches all he wants, but when it comes down to it, when you compare his views , voting record, and ideas to what Chavez's views and ideas are, they are not too far apart. Hell, he's even talked about a "civilian national security force". Oh he stands for a change alright, much like the Bolsheviks stood for change in Russia.

At Least 37,200,000 Babies Murdered Since 1976

According to a new article out today on Boston.com. The article reports on a study that shows that the number of abortions performed in 2007 was 1,200,000, the lowest since 1976. Horrifically, the number drop may be partially attributed to the availability of the Murder Pill, RU-486. So keep in mind when Liberals and Democrats go on TV to talk about how much they value life, when they betray our brave men and women in uniform who are fighting to give Iraqis and Afghans a chance at a richer and fuller life, just how much they care about life. They care so much that they minimize the effects of abortion and how much human life is lost per year. They care so much about the environment that some groups even encourage murdering babies to protect the "environment", while they sit back and watch 1,200,000 babies murdered per year. To fully comprehend the number there are only 9 cities in America with a population larger that 1,200,000.

More Global Warming Communist Tactics Pushed at Bali

First, I suggest you go back and read the post I published last month: Going Warming Hoax Update (Where Going Green = Going Red). The UN's pollution spreading conference in Bali is another cover to use Global Warming in order to push a very leftwing agenda upon the world and attack the sovereignty of all nations (please see the Law of the Sea Treaty). The AP has a story on the idiocy and here's a sampling:

The draft lays out three options for how to proceed after Bali -- ranging from non-binding talks over the next two years to a deadline for adopting a new global pact at a U.N. meeting in Copenhagen in late 2009.

Rich nations should consider ways to step up efforts to curb emissions of greenhouse gases by setting "quantified national emission objectives," the draft says.

Poor countries should take "national mitigation actions ... that limit the growth of, or reduce, emissions," it says. It adds that "social development and poverty eradication are the first and overriding priorities" for poor nations.

Got that? So "rich" nations need to set emissions standards that will drastically reduce "emissions levels" while "poor" nations will be able to ignore this standard in order to socially and economically develop. See the hypocrisy there? The USA is considered a rich nation, but with a large population of poor people. By buying into this system, we surrender economic freedom over the UN and the damage it will have economically on our nation will do nothing to help the poor people but will in fact, do more, to destroy the middle class and create a larger pool of poor people. Conversely, China (a nation completely exempt from The Kyoto Protocol) is considered poor and can do whatever they want, in fact, their levels of emissions make ours look tiny. So got that? USA bad, China good.

Next, let's look at what exactly the UN is getting at by dividing the world into "poor" and "rich" nations, while completely ignoring the socio-economic differences within a nations borders, be it from East to West, rural to urban, etc. The UN is attempting to mandate that "rich" nations re-distribute the wealth into poorer nations under the guise of "Global Warming":

Currently, adaptation money comes from two global funds that rely on voluntary donations from wealthy nations, but falls far short of what is needed. Rich nations have pledged a combined $220.4 million, but as of September had delivered only $116.6 million – a "pathetic" amount, says Ms. Raworth, who puts the immediate needs among the poorest nations at $1 billion to $2 billion a year.

That's right, we all need to pony up for the failings of other nations to develop themselves, and damn it to hell, if that means making those of us who have politically and socially developed tactics that will allow us to grow foot the bill and let those who have made these choices poorly to have exactly what we have, but not to work for it. Sure there are natural advantages, but how does that matter? Should we feel guilty that we have resourceful land? Absolutely not, we should feel blessed. For as much whining the left does about outsourcing jobs the "carbon credit" industry that Al Gore his cronies are making a killing off of, in part by fueling the fear over this hoax, is doing just that:

Under the protocol, a company can earn emission credits by building emissions-cutting projects in developing countries – dubbed a clean-development mechanism (CDM). CDM credits can be traded on the international carbon market, with 2 percent of the value set aside in an adaptation fund. But by some pessimistic estimates, that levy is only likely to generate several hundred million dollars a year. So developing countries want to expand the levy to cover all carbon credits issued under the protocol – not just those issued via the clean-development mechanism. Their goal here is to put the protocol's adaptation fund squarely on the agenda for the protocol's first operational review, slated for next year. The protocol's first commitment period takes effect Jan. 1. In addition, developing countries are pushing to streamline and cut the high cost of applying for adaptation money.

Meanwhile, you still can't get any Democrats on board for Wind Farms because Teddy Kennedy doesn't like the sight of them while sailing, and Democrats specifically blackballing hydrogen and nuclear energy (the only reliable source of clean energy available) from their doomed-to-fail energy bill, while raising taxes immensely on oil companies. Their efforts are reckless and baseless. They ignore the energy solutions that will work and respond the damaging effects of highly inflated gas prices by trying to shove a tax increase what will be passed along and funded by the tax payers. Luckily, President Bush and the Administration are taking a "thanks, but no thanks" approach to the lunacy in Bali as well as the Democrats latest logic lacking bill. Finally, for your consideration, I give you this excellent post by Stephen Milloy, entitled, The Greenest Hypocrites of 2007, a must read.

Liberal Talker Indicted on Child Porn Charges

Bernie Ward of KGO was indicted on child porn charges, which he says is unfounded as he was simply "researching" information for a book. What exactly does this kid toucher have to research in regards to child porn that would have led him to download child pornography? The only research needed in a case like this would be interviews with the horrible monsters who partake in this hideousness. The guy is lying. Of course, he wouldn't be a liberal if he didn't try to blame this on President Bush and the administration. In liberal land, this animal is being defended. In the real world, this guy should be locked up and kept away from the general public. His mind state and actions are reprehensible and indefensible.

Michael Newdow, Much Like an STD, Just Won't Go Away

I make the comparison because the only thing worse than having to see this jackass's name in the news is about on the same level as being injected with an STD, and in all fairness, I would like to apologize to STDs everywhere for comparing them to Michael Newdow. Newdow, as you will recall, is the asshat who sued to stop the use of the phrase "under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance, amongst other things, and was shot down like a Democrat who strayed from their party's lines. Well he's at it again, the worthless troll just won't give up. However, there is a theme building for this post, the previous post, and the upcoming post, and that is: MAJORITY RULES. IT'S CALLED A DEMOCRACY YOU LIBTARDS! The majority of people do not object to the phrases, the majority of people APPROVE of the phrases. Hopefully, the SCOTUS will actually do the right thing here and step in and just put an end to the madness. It's also painfully apparent what this guy really wants as he always seems to pop up in the news right around Easter and/or Christmas. Beware the tyranny of the minority my friends. I'd also like to point out that the fact remains that we were and are a Christian nation, the Separation of Church and State is essentially a doctrine that was put in place to allow Chrisitian theologies to co-exist, such as the Puritans and Anglicans amongst other Protestant religions in the outset and evolved into including the other religions, Judaism, Buddhism, and my faith Catholicism (yes Christian, but very different from, say Lutheranism) to all co-exist within our nation. Liberals make such a huge fuss about intolerance but attack Christians and the phrase "God" as being offensive, but will put out all the stops to show how differences between Muslim groups should be highlighted and celebrated. The same affection they show to jihadists are not afforded to the law abiding citizens of our nation. Should a terrorist asshat blow themselves up in a crowd of innocent Jews or Christians it is because they are oppressed; should a Christian simply say "Merry Christmas," they are oppressing others. See how that works? So God Bless Michael Newdow, and if you have a problem with our money, don't use it. If you have a problem with our flag, don't salute it. In fact, if you have that much beef with our country, we can start a fund for you to go to some Godless nation like Cuba where your rights will dutifully be respected, especially the ones to due process and freedom of speech.

Morons in PA Legislature About to Tax us For A New Team in Philly That Won't Win a Championship in a Sport Nobody Cares About

Wow, taxes to go towards a stadium is just a bad idea in the first place, but a soccer stadium..$45 million dollars? This has got to be one of the worst sports decisions since the Philadelphia 76ers hired Billy King, who surprise, surprise, was fired today. Get back on track, right, I know. Well insanity is sometimes defined as doing the same things over and expecting different results. First, sending Libtards to any legislature and expecting anything good to come of it falls under that definition. Second, Mr. Philadelphia Ed Rendell, whose primary concern outside of Philadelphia is how he can watch Comcast Sports, was sure to bring home more bacon for the city. Third, it's soccer, folks. You know, the sport that has been around forever and has never been popular in the U.S., ranks behind skiing, boxing, horse racing, curling, etc. How can they possibly imagine this will work when it's already failed before, in the 70s....at the height of the drug era.....stoned hippies everywhere, who are amused by goldfish, clouds, and butterflies...found it so boring that not just the team, but the entire league folded. There is really one target audience that this pork project is catered to..one whose insane growth level in the area could insure Donkeycrats a longer stay in office even if the votes are illegal...Here's a clue:

"Today, as we sit here, we see a really mature, soccer-consuming audience," said Nick Sakiewicz, president of sports promoter AEG New York, who is working to bring a team here. "Back in the '70s and '80s, there was really no soccer-consuming market."

The former pro goalkeeper and two-time Major League Soccer executive of the year, widely credited with securing a new stadium for the New York Red Bulls, sees solid evidence why, this time, soccer can't miss:

Local exhibitions between top international teams, such as the game between Manchester United and FC Barcelona at Lincoln Financial Field in 2003, draw sellout crowds.

The fast-growing immigrant community from Mexico and other Latin American nations provides a solid base of knowledgeable, enthusiastic fans. The Mexican population in Pennsylvania and New Jersey grew 74 percent from 2000 to 2006.

$40 Million Dollars to buy off a large portion of the illegal immigrants in PA and NJ, and no that's not a blanket statement, you know what's happened in Hazleton, and believe me, it's happening in many more communities. Even in Easton, PA where I grew up and outskirts of Palmer arrests are being made and deportations (thankfully) in process for the illegals who have trolled their free loaded asses up here. In the meantime, have fun driving on I-83, I-78, I-80, and I-81, and ask yourself why the roads can never be fixed up and sinkholes not filled. Sure the Dems go on TV and cry about it, but hey, it's a never ending tax cycle. Fund pork projects to secure votes, complain they did not have enough money to actually do the job they were supposed to do with the money, and then justify a tax raise to the dullards who refuse to follow the news. You've got a friend in Pennsylvania indeed.

Run from the Left, Or They Will, In Fact, Destroy the Nation

Here's the Republican response to the INSANE TAX HIKE they are planning to ram down our throats if they pull the wool over the public's eye and take the election in 2008.

Here's Bloomberg.com's take on it.

Here's Newsbusters take on it.

Not much difference among the three articles. Rangel, of course, insists this is just to make things more "fair" but that's nonsense. There's nothing fair about taxing anyone at 44% at the federal rate. They say it will lower taxes on the lower incomes but that's a giant lie if there ever was one. The top tax bracket is at $200,000 a year or higher. Specifically, this impacts small businesses, the largest sector that affects job growth in the nation. Additionally, you should keep in mind that large corporations will be taxed at a much, much higher rate. Sounds good the ear if you don't know how economics, or even basic human nature works. The higher taxes on the small and large businesses are not simply going to be absorbed as a loss for these entities. They will simply raise the prices on goods, thereby passing the effects of the taxes onto to us normal folks. You should also keep in mind that a good tax lawyer or accountant will find any loophole that exists to exploit it, and the government is not going to simply let that revenue disappear without passing it on to consumption, which again, impact us not making over $200,000 year. They also talk of taxing oil companies even higher rates. Again, that will spill over to us. So if you believe the big lie that the economy is bad now, get ready for indentured servitude to the government. Here are some real facts on the economy, as eloquently stated by my friends over at Say Anything.

More Evidence of Sharia Invading our Society

I dare you to read this article and not be upset. Are these people serious? We are a melting pot, not a stratified multicultural nightmare that the Liberals would love it to be. This is bullshit plain an simple. You know what? If you don't want to be a part of a capitalist society, then don't come here. Here's a little snippet from the article above:

Approved Muslim lenders typically set up Sharia compliance boards, with input from scholars and clerics, to guide their policies, and devised variations on acceptable loans.

Under the plan of Guidance Financial, for example, a homebuyer enrolls in a co-ownership program with Guidance. The lender buys the house, then sells it to the homeowner in increments over the next 15 to 30 years.

''Some people would say, 'That sounds like the same thing as a mortgage,''' said Guidance spokesman Hassam Qutub. ''The difference is the risk is shared in the event of a foreclosure. The lender assumes more risk than a conventional bank.''

You know some of the other nice things about Sharia? Beating women, beheadings, subjecting non-Muslims to lives as indentured servants and second-class citizens, forced conversion, and murdering innocents if you can get one crazy ass imam to say its justified. Again, I'll reiterate, I'm not anti-Muslim, but I'm anti-multiculturalism. If any person comes here and refuses to integrate, that's their problem, not the rest of the nation's problem. You come here, you become part of the melting pot, or get rolled over. Every nationality has dealt with this integration and I'd say we did pretty well until this ultra-PC liberal moonbattery took root. Do our leaders even have a single vertebrae left?

Liberals and the Media Desperate as Progress Report Draws Near

Really, how else can you accurately affix a term to the efforts they are now so dangerously trying to suppress even as their last bit of respect is on the line. Jack Murtha (D-ickhole, PA) had accused our soldiers of committing war crimes in Haditha long ago, before any evidence had been supported, now has been exposed as a liar, one who, even worse, not only refused to let the facts come out, but refused to give the benefit of the doubt to our soldiers, and yes, in a true showing of why we question their patriotism, defiled our soldiers a war criminals. Michelle Malkin has a great reaction to this bit of news. Hopefully the soldiers Murtha libeled can take appropriate action against him in the court system.

As has been documented over and over again on the blogosphere and even admitted to, grudgingly, by the Liberals, is the successful military gains that the Surge has brought, and yes, the fruits of political reconciliation that are being fostered and developed. Read these two pieces by Mario Loyala, an embedded reported in Iraq, "Operation Phantom Strike" and "Desperados." In these pieces Loyola details, first hand, how the military is "demolishing" al-Qaeda as well as how local tribesmen continue to turn from al-Qaeda and in fact fight them along with the United States. They have taken ownership of the situation and are engaged in the destruction of al-Qaeda in Iraq while starting to reach out to the Iraqi government.

The Liberals know that the tremendous political capital they put on the line here in their pursuit of fulfilling their own goals and their severe infliction of Bush Derangement Syndrome has pretty much doomed them for generations to come should the Iraq conflict be resolved in an acceptable fashion to the American people. Yes, even the people over at The Boston Globe will acknowledge as much. Perhaps this why President Bush took full advantage of the situation to say that we will stand behind al-Maliki because he is the democratically elected leader of Iraq. Perfectly sane and logical, as well as respectful of the democratic process, the same process the Moonbats have cried foul over during the last two presidential cycles. Worse for the Democrats, Hillary Clinton tried to appeal to her base by attempting to subvert the will of the Iraqi people who elected al-Maliki. al-Maliki fired back. This is the new Democratic gambit, knowing that military gains are being made and the Surge is indeed working, they point to the national government's inability to solve all problems are a reason to abandon Iraq to genocide and get their precious votes. It will fail, and the Democrats will fail. Worse for them, Bush has one upped them again and in the process turned the tables on the Democrats who consistently say that Bush usurps the will of an electorate by doing just that in Iraq. Even as our allies in Europe and Asia grow closer to us, it is the Democrats who are crying foul over the policies that are, in fact, strengthening our bonds overseas all the while setting themselves up for more failure and truly dividing us from our allies. The Democrats would rather be closer with Cuba and Venezuela rather than Britain and Japan.

Truly it is their own ideology that is blinding them from gains made on the local level. How arrogant and truly ignorant one must be in order to believe the top of the period must be hoisted high up in the air without a base being built first. Yes, the war was mismanaged at first, but what is happening since Gen. Petraeus has taken charge has been nothing short of remarkable. In time, if given the time our soldiers and our national defense interests deserve, as well as the rights for which we stand to defend need, the end game will be near in what is in the best interests for us and for the human rights of the Iraqi people. For them, a chance to choose the government that they want for themselves. For us, a technical knockout blow to al-Qaeda, a strong ally in the Middle East to help counter the Iranian scourge, and rock solid proof that we will fight to defend our beliefs.

Even further proof of the evidence that is starting to breach the flood gates that the Mainstream Media has erected to protect their Liberal buddies' interests, is that a massive problem has been solved. al-Sadr's Mahdi Army quit, supposedly for six month, but they quit altogether in the face of the Surge, and the MSM is not covering this they way it should. They treat this with a ho-hum despite the ENORMITY of the development. Investment is pouring into Iraq at a tremendous rate, and even now, we prepare for the "Made in Iraq" label to be supplied to the U.S. Sure, it starts off small, much like the textile orders in the previous article, the momentum is at the local level, but it's a base, it's building, and getting stronger. It's military progress, it's the thrashing of al-Qaeda, and the building of relationships with a focus on keeping Iraq secure and peaceful, the keystones toward building a strong government. It's what is best for America. It is what is worst for the Liberals from the Democrats to the Media, and the lid is about to blow off the pot of true knowledge that is boiling over, and the Moonbats are about to get third degree burns.

Liberal Unite, Form Some Kind of Marxist Voltron

Or some variation of moronic liberals coming together and attacking the free market system and individualism. Yes, much the like the Bolshevik revolution that ended in utter failure and devastating losses of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, the Liberals are uniting to attack our very system of life. First, the most obvious example, is Bill Richardson in this darling of a quote...
"I go to all the little living rooms in New Hampshire and Iowa. And you know what people say to me? They say they want somebody to inspire them. They want somebody that will say: "hey, collectively we need to do things together as a country, instead of this individualism. You know the president has these wars that don't go through the budget, the tax cuts for people that don't want 'em."
Sure. We need to collectively (aka socialism/communism) solve problems instead of, you know, taking ownership of the problem and finding solutions to problems ourselves. I suppose if my car were to ever catch fire, I can just sit there and collectively wait for others to come to my rescue instead of getting out before it blows up. Of course the wars don't go through the normal budget, it's called Emergency Defense spending for things like defending human freedom and human rights. Of course, the grand little tidbit here is the "tax cuts for people that don't want 'em." Because nobody wants tax cuts so that they have more money in their pockets to fuel the U.S. Economy. Of course by listening to John "Ambulance Chaser" Edwards, everyone is poor and the Liberals say that Bush has enacted policies that force more people to be poor. Then again, POVERTY IS DECLINING SHARPLY, a good portion due to more more money being pumped into the economy and investments due to the tax cuts that were across the board, you know, the same tax cuts Democrats decry. The only people who don't' want tax cuts and individualism are the Liberals. Taking money out of the government's hands and empowering the people to have control over their own lives cuts right against the vein of the very political ideology. Of course, the AP article is very bias against Bush, as we all fully expect anyway. They note that manufacturing jobs are on their way down. Of course they are, as wages rise the price for goods rise which in turn makes our domestic products more expensive and the law of economics will show rational consumers purchasing lower priced products with the same level of quality. Democrats hate this and push protectionism while at the same time hypocritically saying that we need to be more engaged with other nations and follow their lead. It's just another example of what I mean by the Democrats "FENCE STRADDLING", adopting policies that let them say they are always on both sides of an issue while all the while pushing towards a Marxist society in America.

Let's look at Hillary Clinton now. Hillary is a lock for the Democratic Nomination. I have been saying for a while now that Richardson will be her running mate in order to pimp him to get Latino votes. Anyway, Hillary comes down squarely on both sides of an issue by insisting that a National Smoking Ban is a policy she will push for if elected. First of all, all smoking bans are stupid, and goes back to Richardson's quote. Richardson is portrayed as a moderate Democrat in the first place which is like saying that a Jalapeno pepper is a moderate spice. Let's say you pay for a bar, put in all the work, get all your paperwork then, and them BAM, the government steps in and say, no one can smoke in your bar. It is idiotic at best. The fact that an entrepreneur puts all their time money and dreams into a bar should be enough to allow for an individual to make the decision as whether their patrons should be able to smoke in a bar. If the owner says lights out, that's fine, I just go another bar where smoking is allowed. It enables the people and the bar owners individual choices of how they are going to spend their time and provides them ownership of the issue. Banning smoking at all bars is a COLLECTIVE decision forced upon all that is counter to the reasoning and all that makes capitalism the great system that it is. Freedom of Choice is paramount towards keeping our society to be, well, free. The Democrats insist on telling you what you can and cannot do, in fact, creating a police state where all you do is determined by what is best for the masses. This is not capitalism. To further compound the issue, the Liberals want everyone to stop smoking, that is their tenant on the issue. There is no room for dissent with them. When proposed with a rational argument such as allowing for choice they get beyond upset. Now the larger point to the argument is that if everyone stops smoking the tax revenues goes way down and the Liberals will not have this. If smoking were to be phased completely out, rest assured the tax money would be made up and them some if they Liberals control the Legislative Branch for long. Hillary is not a moderate as she is trying to portray herself, and the only reason that the Liberals attack her, but not viciously, is so that in the General Election, she can point the slight ribbing (most likely a planned action) as proof that she is moderate, which of course is a bold faced lie.

John Edwards exploits are legendary. The guy is a completely scum bag. Fortress, his old company, is foreclosing on homes in New Orleans like they were going out of style, and ol' Silky Pony throws a few bucks at the families to show how much he cares. Sure. He also has a history of attacking his neighbor who dares to be a Republican. Of course pretty much everything this guy does is shameful. When he started his campaign in New Orleans by waging class warfare and saying that Bush is the cause of all their problems, he fails to explain why, as a MEGA millionaire he did nothing after Katrina. He did not send in money, did not take displaced families in, etc. Admittedly not many people did, but then, not everyone is running a campaign to show how hard they will fight for the poor. Hey John, watching the disaster on TV and Saying how bad it is, is not fighting for the poor. Now he outlines his new plan to defeat cancer. The synopsis, use Lance Armstrong as a symbol, expand the government's role in taking over all research, and increase the current plans the government runs. Because that has been so effective up till now. How about this for a plan, lower the government's role in the issue, guarantee a patent for an extended time period, say for 15 years, and put a bin Laden-like bounty on the disease, and then see what happens. When was the last time the government found a cure for any disease? Go ahead, keep thinking. Private investment and research is what will cure diseases, pointing to a large dollar sum the government is spending does nothing. Private companies get results, government programs get nothing but employees who are practically impossible to fire if they are incompetent, bureaucratic tape to run through, little to nothing to answer for because the Government does nothing to resolve issues rather than pass the buck and find a scapegoat. When was the last time a government agency actually solved problems or found innovative and cost effective methods to run a tight ship? The definition of insanity is to keep trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results, and this is the Liberal plan in a nutshell, but it sounds good and they hope to sucker in the voters with these insidious lies.

Further exacerbating the issue, and illustrating the idiocy of the Liberal agenda is yet another story on Hillary Clinton, where she is upset about the expenditure on National Defense and the empowerment of the individual in the form of tax cuts. As an incentive, read this article to see how many times John Edwards can say "conservative" in one paragraph. Hillary is upset that the expenditures on the War on Terror and tax cuts have decreased the government's control on every aspect of society and as such, promises a "lot of cleaning up" after Bush is gone. She invokes stem-cell research to spread fear and show President Bush as being backwards, but the argument he makes is based on morals and the fact that as I have previously mentioned, the position of conservatives is that when stem-cell research is allowed for in an ethical manner (i.e protect life from the start while protecting life while alive, the moral acquisition of stem cells in so much that no scientist encourages the death of a baby in order to further their studies in order to derive the benefits of curing infectious and debilitating diseases) that research ought to be done in the private sector. There is no reason for the government to run all health research. Where in our Constitution is the Federal Government afforded the powers to run every aspect and industry in American Society? What is the Liberal attack front doing to Alexander Hamilton's Federals Society as spelled out in the greatest documents ever ignored in our society, The Federalist Papers?

What is being done in today's Democratic Party is for the advancement of the Socialist cause. This is not a "Progressive" movement, but rather a regressive movement as the Democrats are moving towards a system that is proven to fail society and cause misery all the while assaulting the Constitution that founded our nation. The attacks are apparent from a multitude of angles, be it from the ones I have spelled out in this text, or to the advanced evidence of their outright refusal to allow the Christian faith to breathe (much like the Soviet Union had done) to the disassembling of the cultural melting pot into the farce that is multiculturalism in order to exploit differences and foster fear in order to secure votes. They are shifting further and further to the left and decrying anyone or anything that is sane, pragmatic, or non-communist in nature. This is particularly evidenced by the creation of Kos, which is being used a fear tactic to shun the freedom of expression and individualism even among their own party who they callously crucify for doing what they believe is right, rather than towing their party's line, it is a bloodless Stalinist purge, and much like the obedient Liberal media who said nothing was going wrong and that everything was rosy in the Soviet Union, the press is immune to the steps currently being taken by the Liberal Socialists here in America.

Protect Our Borders, Enforce our Laws, and Protect our Nation

Really it's that simple. The more these pro-illegal alien nitwits are off running their mouths about how it's unfair that they get taken to task for breaking international laws the more it's angering me. I nearly flipped my lid when I read this piece of garbage written by uber liberal Time (the sister company of CNN- The Communist News Network). No where in this article is this piece of unadulterated garbage labeled an editorial, but it is just that. Within the first paragraph the following section appears:

"In early August, the Bush Administration moved unilaterally to stiffen enforcement, with Department of Homeland Security head Michael Chertoff announcing more fines and penalties for employers who knowingly hire illegals as well as an increased border crackdown."

Well imagine that, the Executive Branch enforcing a law. That's their job, it's spelled out in the same Constitution that these illegal aliens spit on upon entering our nation illegally. Unilaterally? Again, that's the Executive Branch of the Government's responsibility, brush up on Constitutional Law. The aim here of the author, of course, is to apply this word in an obvious attempt to bash President Bush as the word "unilateral" has taken on a connotative meaning meant to conjure up the false image that President Bush somehow skirted and fooled Congress into going to war in Iraq, which is utterly untrue, but apparently such a common tactic by the left that it is sickening.

"She was the pro-immigrant caucus's poster alien, their best chance to highlight the cruelty of the current status quo."

The cruelty of the current status quo? You mean administering justice as spelled out under the laws of our nation? The cruelty that exists when law and order have a say in how society is governed? How else are we to defend our national sovereignty? What these idiots want is an open border where our nation can be trampled. The heart of their argument is not legal immigration where people are coming here with the intent to become citizens but their intent is to remain loyal to a foreign government while taking food and health care out of the mouths of all our citizens through our tax dollars. They show utter contempt for our nation. Here's another little gem, this one a quote from "The Rev. Alexia Salvatierra", even more vile than the ones the author included:

"The blood of the martyrs," says Rev. Salvatierra, quoting old scripture somewhat extravagantly, "is the seed of the church."

First of all, she is not a martyr, she didn't get so much as a bruise on her when we enforced our laws, what kind of parallel can be drawn here? Secondly, and most important, for a priest, a Reverend, or any person who is charged with overseeing faith based practices, how dare the "Rev. Salvatierra" compare this woman to a martyr. How dare they compare her to Jesus, who was martyred for our sins, and the numerous saints in our Church. This is easily the most offensive thing I have seen in years, and it is near blasphemy.

Really, they have no respect for our nation and laws whatsoever. Does this look like the work of people who respect our nation? How hard is it to fill out some paperwork, or work in the NAFTA zone is they want to work in the United States? No, it's not enough, they need to shamelessly violate our great nation. Packing 54 illegals into a motor home and trying to sneak them into the United States is not respect, it's illegal, premeditated, and a crime against our entire citizenry and a massive slap in the face of those who come here legally. Look, I'm not anti-immigrant, far from it. Do it legally. We are the melting pot, not the multicultural disaster that is brewing thanks to the far left. My ancestors (well not that old, I'm only third generation) came here legally as did most of the people born here. We demand respect for our laws and we will respect them and support them as they seek a better life. However, an illegal act deserves no respect, no support, except for supporting the Executive Branch for supporting our laws and shipping them back home. Furthermore, Americans are demanding further action on protecting our sovereignty which Democrats will not do, and in fact are shameless (surprise surprise) doing the opposite in order to gain more votes while selling all respect for our laws and the future of our nation down the river. What's even more laughable is the economic argument that leftists use in saying how we need illegal immigrants in order to have our economy thrive because the demand is so high for their work that we will suffer when it is not done. Well since James Carville, a massive Liberal Tool, said "it's the economy stupid," perhaps you should know something about the economy. Now what happens if the borders are enforced and suddenly there is a giant void of laborers in the agriculture and landscaping industries (stereotype I know, but I'm simplifying here) and these business need to fill the slots. High Demand for Labor, Low Supply of Labor = Higher Wages...that go to legal Americans that will help fix the problem of these low wages that exist in these industries due to an artificial and illegal influx of supply that prices those playing fair out of the market. That's an economic truth, but far be it for Dems to even consider the beauty of a self-correcting free market.
