Global Warming Hoax Becoming More and More Obvious

So what's the leftist, global warming hoax peddling tool to do when it's announced that global warming is on a "10 year break"? Of course that's going forward from now and doesn't account for the DROP in temperatures over the last few years. For starters, they're not about to admit they are completely wrong. They simply can't do it. It would fly in the face of the premise of the hoax in the first place. Global Warming is nothing more than a Leftist agenda to promote global collectivist ideas. They won't admit they are wrong, but even if they did admit it, it would go something like this, "well it was for moral reasons..." Which is exactly the kind of garbage the fascists pedal all the time when their schemes are exposed.

I know that some people reading this will essentially say that I'm something of a "flat Earther" as Al Gore would say, but let's for a moment pause to consider some of the tenets of Global Warming:
1. The world is overpopulated (i.e. abortion as a means of population control is a good thing)
2. Scientists who have produced evidence to the contrary of global warming hysteria or expressed doubts with regard to the theory are silenced (suppress opposing speech)
3. World governments need to pass binding resolutions in order to reach common laws regarding carbon and greenhouse emissions (surrender national sovereignty to an international body)
4. Through these international organizations and restrictions control the means of production and determine what levels are acceptable to be manufactured (the destruction of capitalism)
5. Limit the use of carbon to those who can pay high taxes or "carbon credits" (a type of restoration of creating a class of serfs)

I could make list that goes on and on, but again, I realize that many of you are thinking that I am some nutjob for precisely some of the reasons I touched on earlier. I urge you to consider the destructive ethanol bill and it's impact on the world. When our Congress passes the ethanol mandate and produced huge subsidies for corn, they did so with the best of intentions, but intentions don't make for good policy, as we have seen. In the short time since this bill passed, world food prices have surged, famine and malnutrition are on the rise, and there has been no reduction in our dependence on foreign oil. Ethanol can not even be transported with our current pipeline system, meanwhile, we have largely hampered the free market to develop the technologies that are readily available and clean, such as nuclear, solar, etc. Additionally, in the short term expanded drilling and oil production domestically would have a huge impact both on our economy and on our energy supply. The government's intervention, however, has hampered the development and implementation of what many fair minded people would agree would be the fastest and best solution to our energy problems. No one would agree that depending on foreign sources for our energy is a good thing. Meanwhile, you have to give John McCain credit for not pandering to Iowans today when he told them flat out, he's against the destructive farm subsidies.

There are many economic friendly things that can be done to preserve the economy including recycling, using a water filter instead of using tons of bottled water, not littering, using a mulching lawn mower, etc.

Global Warming and they hysterics behind it, however, are nothing more than a political ploy by the left to get individuals to surrender their rights to people who "know better" than they do, and that is a very, very dangerous idea.

Al Gore's Business Plan: Initial Investment + Fear Tactics = $$$$

Wow. Gore had less than $2 million dollars in assets less than 8 years ago and now he has enough cash to be able to INVEST $35 million dollars in hedge funds? That's quite a return on investment. He planted the seeds for this a long, long time ago, sunk investments into the companies that he could buy shares of dirt cheap and then was able to use his considerable political and "celebrity" influence to play up the global warming hoax hysterics to high enough level to achieve and annual return on global warming of at least 400% per year. That's quite a haul. He is also a little testy about inquiries into his investments:

``He is a private citizen, and as a private citizen he has never commented on his private finances,'' said Kreider, who works out of Nashville, Tennessee.

He doesn't have to, most of us who are following the events closely know how he was able to accomplish this.

Global Warming Hoax Update: Al Gore is Losing Money

Someone stop the madness! We're actually getting colder! Wait, that shouldn't be a celebratory statement I think, aw, screw it, I love watching bobsledding. So for all the insane lies we've been getting fed by the lefties on this issues (search my archives for a tip of the ICEberg on what I mean and then research the rest) it is becoming more and more apparent that ManBearPig is the Loch Ness Monster of the scientific community. Case in point? NASA, among other organizations, and not just in the United States, but Russia among other nations, are pointing towards the encroaching reality that, SHOCK, the sun is responsible for our global temperature and climate issues than anything else (in fact, minimally from man) and that we are actually headed toward a cycle where the patterns of the sun are going to lead to a cooling of global temperatures. Another case in point? How about this article that warns of a coming Ice Age (another extreme view but at least is a bit more honest than Al Gore) that points to RISING ice levels and colder global temperatures since the year 2000. General consensus? Money talks, and Al Gore is losing a good deal right now as he and the envirofascits are scurrying to cover up the reality of what is actually occurring. That reality? Man is not causing a great deal of environmental impact by using fossil fuels. The sun's surface activity is actually doing the vast, vast majority of temperature and weather change. The problem? The left needs to hush this up with the quickness lest their plan for a global re-distribution of wealth fail to materialize. Check out some facts from this article that appeared on Yahoo for example:

"The U.S. is prepared to enter into binding international obligations to reduce greenhouse gases

as part of a global agreement in which all major economies similarly undertake binding international obligations," said Daniel Price, according to a BBC report.

"Major economies" refers to the 17 largest emitters of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases, led by the United States and China.

De Boer told The Associated Press that U.S. talk of internationally binding targets for emissions reductions was "great." But he saw problems in what Price said otherwise.

"If the intent is to achieve a comparable effort on the part of developing countries, then that is not realistic and not in line with what was agreed in Bali," de Boer said.

So the UN said that the United State's committing to a multinational cut in CO2 output wasn't good? For what reason? For the the fact that developing nations, the heaviest polluter (China), and those with lower Per Capita Incomes, should not be included in their agreement because it would be "unfair?" Can a SCAM be any further exposed?

The UN and their lefty friends true disagreement to President Bush's administration complete and total disembowelment of the enviro-fascists argument is that it would undermine their Marxist and World Government leftist agenda. They are attempting to take the accumulated wealth of nations, through their own hard work and ingenuity, and give them to the poorer nations, the complete narrative of Karl Marx. While I do not rail against all international agreements and organizations, indeed, we need many of these in the world today, this one is utterly transparent. However, when the Leftists and the UN are attempting to use a scare tactic to re-distribute the world's wealth in such a manner (China is a larger polluter and emitter than the US but should be exempt where the US should be punished) and have their political leaders profit off such a deal, one wonders if we should completely re-examine our position with the UN....of whom we are the largest donors and provide a headquarters....whom also is our largest critic......well, you see where this is going.

Start Drilling in Alaska

Environmentalists and hippies simply do not care about the average man, woman, and child in America. How else can you explain the majority of their actions? They try to block anything that can help solve the energy in the short term while we gear up for the long term solutions. Long term, of course, we need to have a completely domestic solution to our energy needs. Nuclear is a long term solution and an environmentally friendly one at that, but they oppose that measure. Hydrogen is off the table for them as well, as evidenced by the Liberal Energy bill that specifically excluded the two technologies that could immediately take flight, perhaps because Global Warming Hoax spokesman Al Gore doesn't have those types of stocks in his portfolio. Solar is promising as well, but it takes time to cut off an immense portion of oil, that much is irrefutable. Rationally speaking, in terms of economics and in national defense, domestic production should be increased. However, Liberals refuse to drill anywhere in Alaska, as once again, the Libtards have blocked drilling in an area that has immense oil reserves that will help to drive down short term prices and help the average human being living in America by saving us a great deal of money an increasing our standard of living. Here's a snippet:

Comprehend those numbers? That's a substantial amount of domestic oil production we are ignoring. ANWR has vast reserves as well. That's just a fraction of what is available domestically. Under the envirofascists logic, nothing should be done because it's possible something could go wrong. Under that same logic, I should cease to work or walk down stairs as something could go wrong doing that as well. If we are going to get serious about solving our energy needs domestically and stop spending such a large portion of our GDP on energy, we must develop more sources of oil and liquefied coal domestically while working feverishly to implement a combination of other sources. Again, for economic and national defense purposes chiefly. The so called global warming alarmists are using their hoax as some sort of sick pseudo-religion that is a disgusting political and self service trick as the major proponents are profiteering off of this effort even as more scientists step up efforts to tell the world community to stop drinking the Kool Aid. That's the only reason they have that reference to the hoax in that article, as a way to justify their irrationality and complete lack of logic. As a practical road map to economic security, lowering energy prices would greatly help the American family. If gas was even still at $2.00 a gallon right now instead of $3.00, how much would that help the American commuter? The only way that will happen is with a larger supply, one not controlled by OPEC. We need to do this short term and it must start ASAP while we develop the new technologies needed to fully supply our own energy needs, and the first step is to utilize what will work now.

If only there was other animals who dwelled on land that ate corn and other feeds that was easily stock-able in supermarkets and a great source of protein....a chick-a-cow, if you will. You know, the kind of food source that would be much cheaper and less susceptible to fluctuations if they were essentially "farmed," if you will. Something that a decline in corn due to insane ethanol aspirations didn't affect. Alas though, the left doesn't like to eat or raise these mythical, delicious, animals for food, and now they won't have fish to eat. I wonder how soy grows in Finland.

Follow Up from Yesterday's Post On Global Warming: I Told You So

See now what I mean by the Global Warming Hoax being used to push a Communist agenda. Well today they finally just came right out and said it: We are going to take from the "rich" according to their means and give to the "poor" according to their need. That's communism plain and simple. Hell, they even put a price tag on it for us "rich" Americans, we should all be ponying up:

Without going into the details, the Greenhouse Development Rights Framework (GDR) proposal foresees levying the equivalent of a climate "consumption luxury tax" on every person who earns over a "development threshold" of $9,000 per year. The idea is that rich people got rich in part by dumping carbon dioxide (CO2) from fossil fuels into the atmosphere, leaving less space for poor people to dump their emissions. In one scenario, Americans would pay the equivalent of a $780 per person luxury tax annually, which amounts to sending $212 billion per year in climate reparations to poor countries to aid their development and help them adapt to climate change. In this scenario, the total climate reparations that the rich must transfer annually is over $600 billion. This contrasts with a new report commissioned by the U.N. Development Program that only demands $86 billion per year to avoid "adaptation apartheid."

No, that's not made up, that is real, and very, very terrifying if you actually care about human freedom what-so-ever. First, is there anyone in America who is not making over $9,000 a year? Is there anyone out there making $15,000 a year and would call themselves "rich" in America? Again to my point of micro-analysing wealth in regards to geographical location, does anyone living in North Jersey qualify as "rich" making $40,000, or in NYC making $50,000? This is utter trash and is just a means to strip freedoms and money from the United States, and you can damn sure bet who is going to hand this over to UN on a silver platter, and that's the Moonbat Democrats. Their patron saint Al Gore is making a KILLING off of lying about the effects of global warming and the true cause of climate change. Read this article to inform yourself a bit more, and research it a bit further to check surface temperatures on Venus and Mars over the time frames that the Earth has actually seen increases, and when you see the percentages the same across each of the planets, ask yourself if driving your car is causing Global Warming in Venus, or if maybe that giant glowing sphere in the sky has something to do with it. The UN, you see, is seeking over a 25% increase over last years budget, while profiteering off of the Global Warming hoax they are involved in, all the while increasing their assets, while adding, exactly what to international security? Think they'll get an endorsement for the people of Myanmar, Rwanda, Iraq, Somalia, Ethiopia, etc? What do we get for hosting the UN and funding them at a clip of 22% and Japan funds them at a clip of 20%? Hell, the UN funds them at a total of 38%, yet they continually put nations openly hostile to world peace and democracy such as Syria, Russia, China, etc to ever increasingly important roles. We see an Iranian stooge in head of the IAEA who is in charge of investigating Iran itself, who would undoubtedly torture and murder his family if he wasn't in lock step with their agenda. NBC Refunding to Their Advertisers, For they are Teh Suck

Got a good chuckle out to this little article. NBC's ratings have gotten so bad that they are actually giving money back to their advertisers for having to embrace the suck that is NBC. Anyone not see this coming? Does the network have anything decent outside of The Office and Sunday Night Football? It is the nation's most liberal network, and we all know how openly media performs in regards to ratings, I mean Air America is pulling in what, like 5 viewers while going bankrupt? Keep in mind there is an entire website dedicate to the lies and garbage that Keith Olbermann spews out each night entitled Olbermann Watch. Of course, their little global warming scam on Sunday Night Football bombed horribly in one of the most hypocritical acts in modern times. So where's the shock here? The most openly liberal network was recently slapped by the masses for initially refusing to run ads thanking the troops for their service while embracing the MoveOn Moonbats and running their ads. MSM is openly bias, but NBC is so far to the left bias that they are now suffering the consequences, and you know it's bad when other lefties are piling onto NBC.

More Global Warming Communist Tactics Pushed at Bali

First, I suggest you go back and read the post I published last month: Going Warming Hoax Update (Where Going Green = Going Red). The UN's pollution spreading conference in Bali is another cover to use Global Warming in order to push a very leftwing agenda upon the world and attack the sovereignty of all nations (please see the Law of the Sea Treaty). The AP has a story on the idiocy and here's a sampling:

The draft lays out three options for how to proceed after Bali -- ranging from non-binding talks over the next two years to a deadline for adopting a new global pact at a U.N. meeting in Copenhagen in late 2009.

Rich nations should consider ways to step up efforts to curb emissions of greenhouse gases by setting "quantified national emission objectives," the draft says.

Poor countries should take "national mitigation actions ... that limit the growth of, or reduce, emissions," it says. It adds that "social development and poverty eradication are the first and overriding priorities" for poor nations.

Got that? So "rich" nations need to set emissions standards that will drastically reduce "emissions levels" while "poor" nations will be able to ignore this standard in order to socially and economically develop. See the hypocrisy there? The USA is considered a rich nation, but with a large population of poor people. By buying into this system, we surrender economic freedom over the UN and the damage it will have economically on our nation will do nothing to help the poor people but will in fact, do more, to destroy the middle class and create a larger pool of poor people. Conversely, China (a nation completely exempt from The Kyoto Protocol) is considered poor and can do whatever they want, in fact, their levels of emissions make ours look tiny. So got that? USA bad, China good.

Next, let's look at what exactly the UN is getting at by dividing the world into "poor" and "rich" nations, while completely ignoring the socio-economic differences within a nations borders, be it from East to West, rural to urban, etc. The UN is attempting to mandate that "rich" nations re-distribute the wealth into poorer nations under the guise of "Global Warming":

Currently, adaptation money comes from two global funds that rely on voluntary donations from wealthy nations, but falls far short of what is needed. Rich nations have pledged a combined $220.4 million, but as of September had delivered only $116.6 million – a "pathetic" amount, says Ms. Raworth, who puts the immediate needs among the poorest nations at $1 billion to $2 billion a year.

That's right, we all need to pony up for the failings of other nations to develop themselves, and damn it to hell, if that means making those of us who have politically and socially developed tactics that will allow us to grow foot the bill and let those who have made these choices poorly to have exactly what we have, but not to work for it. Sure there are natural advantages, but how does that matter? Should we feel guilty that we have resourceful land? Absolutely not, we should feel blessed. For as much whining the left does about outsourcing jobs the "carbon credit" industry that Al Gore his cronies are making a killing off of, in part by fueling the fear over this hoax, is doing just that:

Under the protocol, a company can earn emission credits by building emissions-cutting projects in developing countries – dubbed a clean-development mechanism (CDM). CDM credits can be traded on the international carbon market, with 2 percent of the value set aside in an adaptation fund. But by some pessimistic estimates, that levy is only likely to generate several hundred million dollars a year. So developing countries want to expand the levy to cover all carbon credits issued under the protocol – not just those issued via the clean-development mechanism. Their goal here is to put the protocol's adaptation fund squarely on the agenda for the protocol's first operational review, slated for next year. The protocol's first commitment period takes effect Jan. 1. In addition, developing countries are pushing to streamline and cut the high cost of applying for adaptation money.

Meanwhile, you still can't get any Democrats on board for Wind Farms because Teddy Kennedy doesn't like the sight of them while sailing, and Democrats specifically blackballing hydrogen and nuclear energy (the only reliable source of clean energy available) from their doomed-to-fail energy bill, while raising taxes immensely on oil companies. Their efforts are reckless and baseless. They ignore the energy solutions that will work and respond the damaging effects of highly inflated gas prices by trying to shove a tax increase what will be passed along and funded by the tax payers. Luckily, President Bush and the Administration are taking a "thanks, but no thanks" approach to the lunacy in Bali as well as the Democrats latest logic lacking bill. Global Warming Hoax Update (Where Going Green = Going Red)

The more I read about the mass hysteria over global warming, the more it is becoming apparent that global warming is nothing more than a left wing attempt at forcing the rule of communism upon the masses. The first piece of evidence that I have, I have long since documented. The Global Warming alarmists shout down dissent and do not allow for free speech in regards to the issue, rather, forcing their opinion on the masses by utilizing the media, using children to influence and force their parents to their view point (much like Mao's Cultural Revolution), and labeling all those who preach caution as radicals and liars. Classic communist move.

Population control has long been a communist tactic, as I am sure you are aware of how the Chinese go about this element. In fact, the Chinese have touted their "population control" as a way of fighting global warming. The Western Leftists, however, have done their part to essentially brainwash people into not having children in order to achieve this means as opposed to the Chinese way of murdering babies after birth. The Western Leftists, however, just want babies murdered before birth or completely prevented from being conceived. Pay special heed to this article, which details why some women in Western nations are being sterilized or having abortions in order to control the human population, because it is not "eco-friendly." That qualifies as moonbattery to the fullest. Completely idiotic, selfish, and barbaric.

On the home front, the Communist bastion of San Francisco has another grand idea that will help to eliminate the "threat" of "global warming" by creating their own special little nanny-state. The new idea being floated on the Left Coast is that fireplaces should be banned because they are not eco-friendly (please not that breathing is not eco-friendly either, which is why the left loves to dismember babies, stop the breathing, stop the carbon). Another ridiculous idea floated by the hard left as a means to control the rights of the people for the "common good," which is another basic philosophy of Communism.

What is another basic philosophy of Communism? The distribution of wealth to those "in need" as determined by the central government. Yes, Hillary, Edwards, Obama, etc subscribe to this tenant as well, but in this case, the central government in question is the United Nations. For example, just today the United Nations came out and said that if Western Nations do not pony up $86 Billion dollars, then the "poor" nations will be affected heavily by "global warming." Here's a little nugget for you to savor:

Half the cost, $44 billion, would go for "climate-proofing" developing nations' infrastructure while $40 billion would help the poor adapt how the live to cope with climate-related risks, says the panel's report. The other $2 billion would go to strengthening responses to natural disasters.

The report recommends the biggest share be paid by the United States and other rich nations, based on aid targets and financing calculations by the World Bank and Group of Eight major industrialized nations.

Amazed at the idiocy yet? How is President Bush criticized for protecting our freedoms from this Leftist onslaught. In fact, we have Canada to thank for stopping another horrible "Global Warming" international act from passing. This act would have given free pass to India and China to pollute all they want while crippling the economies of developed Western nations, giving the developing nations a competitive advantage over Western nations, destroying the intellectual and patent rights of Western corporations, and greatly undermining the most basic of human freedoms. The fact that the parallels between Global Warming and Communism are becoming more transparent everyday and it's about time those of us who believe in human rights, entrepreneurship, technological advances, democracy, and the Western way of life start to stand up and fight for it or it will all slip away.

Buck the Leftist Scare Tactics. Ethanol Not Feasible. It's Nuclear and Hydrogen or Bust

For all the talk that the Lefties belt out in regards to breaking our dependence on foreign oil, they continually balk at one source that we have that is cheap, effective, and clean. That source, of course, is nuclear energy. The amount of energy that can be derived from a nuclear power plant is awfully impressive, and to increase the number of active plants in this nation, with updated technology would be a huge difference in decreasing the volume of oil we consume. I don't subscribe to the garbage that is the Global Warming scam, but the inevitable fact is that one day, be it 50 years, or 1,000 years, oil will be gone. Our national security dictates that we decrease our needs on foreign oil, and nuclear is our best bet. We have not, however, had a new nuclear power plant built since the 70s. Huge mistake. The technological advances we have made since then are immeasurable. Think of it this way, back then, the Atari was the shit, now compare that to the Xbox 360, and that's just a simple game console. So, this should be a no-brainer bi-partisan effort right? Wrong. Dems are doing their damnedest to stop a nuclear fuel waste facility to be built in a remote part of Nevada. Not shocking, however, when you consider Harry Reid is from Nevada, and the left has so scared the public with the "nuclear is evil" rhetoric in terms of weaponry that the average American is scared to go that route. There's also the whole "Not In My Back Yard," mentality to cope with. It's imperative we use this source. It's cheap, efficient, and mastered. It should be done.

Speaking of alternative energy, if it's possible to turn sewage into hydrogen energy, I'm all for it. The problem of course is that the most promising sources of alternative energy are not endorsed by the Dems. The only one they endorse is the least efficient, a higher pollutant than oil, and one that causes inflation on the masses due to higher prices for corn, which is used much, much more than the average person realizes. The reason they support it is to appear to be behind a made up cause, so that they can profit off of the scare tactic, using tax payer funds to sell the ineffective ethanol to the public.

Global Warming Cult Take Heed, We're on To You

Wow, the news does come hard and fast, I'll tell you that much. It's amazing the cult that the Global Warming Enviro-Fascists have built up so quickly. Down right scary actually. I'm sure Charles Manson is sitting in jail right now, thinking, "wow, that Al Gore is something else."

First up on the agenda for this post is news that this is somehow a Generational Test for Republicans. Really? The premise of this article is that young people are entirely indoctrinated by the Global Warming rhetoric to the point where a Republican travels to Greenland on the advice of his children to see "first hand" how global warming is "decimating" the area. The children, you see, are already infected with the cult persona of the global warming moonbats. It's a very, very well documented fact how left wing colleges have been and have moved even further to the left. There is another take on how "global warming" is effecting Greenland, however, and that take is that...it's ACTUALLY A GOOD THING FOR GREENLAND. Sure the BBC throws in some of their global warming diatribe, but read the article, see what the people of Greenland think about the cyclical change of the ice levels.

Second, let's return to my point about indoctrinating young people (I hate using that term, but I'm 29, I'm getting old). The cult mentality is something the left wing Global Warming Hoax perpetrators have been doing for quite some time and have been quite effective at doing. Leonardo DiCaprio's now-infamous quote that "we need to get kids young," is exactly what they are doing. The Marin Independent Journal has an article on just how young they need to "get" and its quite scary:

On Friday, Rancho students will be given bilingual "Cancel-a-Car" coupon books filled with ways they can fight global warming.

Once the coupons are returned to school, teachers will track what conservation efforts are made and the date. Teachers will help monitor the progress. As the carbon reduction increases, images of cars will be crossed out on a giant poster kept at school.

So got that? Cars are bad. Children should be brainwashed as young as possible. Another all important, "get them young so that they will not resist while old" and encourage them to go after their parents on the issue like the Children of the Corn. After all, it's a classic Liberal tactic to hide behind and then have children do their dirty work. It's gotten so bad that Portland, OR, a strong bed of classic hippie activity, is set to impose a "carbon tax" that will enforce taxes on home builders, which, as you know, will undoubtedly be passes on to consumers. So homes are bad if they don't invest in the carbon offset program, got that?

Let's also note how opposed the Dems are to Nuclear Energy, the actual and only short and long term solution to our energy woes that are decimating the dollar. It's not exactly a secret that the dollar is getting crushed due to extremely high commodity prices. We have not built a Nuclear Energy plant since the 70s. Nuclear Energy is also the one source of clean burning, extremely energy efficient fuel that will have the largest single impact on reducing our dependence on oil. It's a technology that has improved immensely since the 70s and would be that much more effective for our nation if we moved towards it, but the Liberals are opposed to this because they are, basically, scared by technology, "Unga bunga, me live in cave, new techology frightens me, where is my club," sayeth the Liberal Neanderthal.

Wind sounds good too, right? Well not so much for the Liberals, after all, Democrat Ted Kennedy, was outraged, outraged I say, by the proposition of a wind farm near Cape Cod because, "That's where I sail, and I don't want to see them." Now that's what I call taking a stand. I'm sure Mary Jo Kopechne didn't want to see water rushing into the car that Teddy left her to drown in either.

Liberals are also vehemently opposed to increased drilling in Alaska and off the coast of Florida in order to increase the output in crude as temporary fix to the energy crunch. So let's re-cap:

1. Carbon is evil and gas should not be used.
2. Carbon should be taxed and the average citizen should pay more for using anything with carbon.
3. Nuclear Energy is evil and should not be used.
4. Wind Energy is a great talking point, but God forbid an elitist should be in view of it, therefore it should not be used.
5. Rising gas costs are a problem, and should not be addressed by increasing supply, but rather taxed even more.
6. Houses are evil if not made of balsa wood and/or Saran Wrap (wait, that's not bio-degradeable), if not made of imaginary structures that spew out carbon eating penguins.

Gee, you really have to wonder if they want any energy being used at all. In fact, the patron saint of Global Warming, Al Gore, makes a shit load of money off of promoting this crap and then having you invest in his Carbon Offset scam. It was also reported recently by the UN that urbanization is horrible and that the population essentially needs to be thinned out, because they are just too many humans. So, here you have a situation where they don't want you to have a car, gas, nor live in an urban setting. So basically they just want you to live amongst the trees keeping yourself warm by the campfire. Oh, that's right, wood contains carbon that goes into the air when burned. So basically, their premise is that they want you to freeze to death in a rural area while unemployed. I mean, if you lived in a rural area and had a job, you'd have to drive to get to work right? Meanwhile the Liberal elitists, buoyed by the new enslaved masses through their enormous carbon taxes burdened upon the citizenry continue to fly all around the world to scold other people on their consumption habits. The fiefdom makes a comeback.

Meanwhile, not everyone is fooled by this nonsense. The founder of the Weather Channel exposes the scam for what is, just that, a scam. If nothing else READ THIS WHOLE ARTICLE. It's a political, economic scam of unmatched proportions. Personally, I find this to be Y2K on crack, a great marketing scheme but nothing else, but the joke here is on the average man, woman, and child, and lets the Liberals make a strong run at your pockets while taxing you back to the Stone Age, quite literally, justified by a the scam they perpetrate and using children, and false science as a cornerstone.

Rissa inspired me to write a letter to Keith Olberman. Here it is:

Dear Olberman (and his aides who read this):
I remember when you were on the "Big Show" with Dan Patrick. ESPN was
bad back then, but to your credit, it is worse now. Having watched your
show on MSNBC a few times, I would encourage you to use Prozac and
various other medicines available to our mentally challenged and/or
disturbed. In fact, the polls in NJ are still coming in, and depending
on the results, you and your co-horts may be able to vote in NJ soon,
regardless of your lack of brain capacity. Congrats. I would also like
to say "job well done" on the Sunday NFL game, you and NBC's commitment
to going green, which stopped short of doing anything that would
actually help the environment, like say, not using large aircraft to
transport your buddies around, or using vast amounts of electricity to
broadcast the game you were commenting on, made a big difference. Matt
Lauer's appearance was also great, in fact, no one has seen his breath
vapor since he has been in the arctic. Amazing. I mean, tonight, when
it was 34 degrees here in Pennsylvania, I was able to see my breath
vapor due to the cold weather. It's amazing that Matt's epic journey to
the arctic while destroying the ozone layer with his corporate jet and
his subsequent landing in the "arctic" didn't even register his dragon
breath in the conditions down there. Now, surely, bad timing isn't to
blame for your company's carbon inducing trip to the Arctic. I mean,
really, it's shocking...shocking....that I feel the cold winter more
here in PA than Lauer's "green screening" in the Arctic. Hey, it's
"green screening", I get it now. Anyway, I did see the ratings recently
Mr. Oblerman, and you are getting stomped like an ant at picnic by Bill
O'Reilly. I know that disheartens you, but cheer up. It's not all
bad. In fact, now that most of the public sees you for the barking
moonbat that you are, you've got comic gold oozing out of your uber
liberal pores, and that will help your ratings. After all, there's
nothing America loves more than a good train wreck. Just look at
Brittney Spears, your own show, and Hillary's campaign. Keep up to good
work Keith, you're as crazy as Ron Paul and his Tin Foil Hat crusaders.

Harry Reid's Selfish Waste of Tax Payer Money

"Which example am I going to cite here," is probably what you're asking yourself, but the one I'm going to highlight here is the debacle of Reid's Liberal special interests taking precedence over the evidence in regards to the California Wildfires. Reid, as most Lefties are, is totally consumed with Global Warming so much so to the point that it goes back and forth with President Bush as reasons for anything that occurs. The stubbing of toe, a headache, etc.

When the fires starting, the Senate Majority Leader (ugh) made his move to say that the wildfires were the result of Global Warming (which is based on junk science as it is). Well, it turns out that's not the case at all. However, he was and still is, calling for Congressional investigations, which will start on Thursday:

On Tuesday the House Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming announced a hearing:

“A Spark Neglected: Wildfires and Global Warming,” it labeled the proceedings scheduled for Thursday.

“Select committee to examine link between changing climate, frequency and intensity of wildfires,” the description continued.

A committee spokesman said the hearing “was prompted by the wildfires out West and the view of some scientists that the increasing size, frequency and intensity of these fires is affected adversely by global warming.” A panel of scientists will testify.

Pure waste of tax payer funds for multiple reasons. First, notice the nifty little headline, "A Spark Neglected". That's actually pretty funny that they would put a title like that on a Congressional study. Stupid. A select committee (gee I wonder if the people selected will have a bias in favor of Global Warming since they are for sure to be on the payrolls of companies that benefit from products that sell 'carbon-credits' and other ridiculous items) will examine the link between the climate, frequency and intensity of wildfires. The findings are going to be that "the drought conditions in California lead to the wildfires and these were caused by global warming, and manbearpig must be stopped, so we are asking everyone to move to a major city and abandon your cars and stop heating your houses." It's asinine. Maybe if they weren't so tree huggingly weird out in California they'd thin the forests out a bit, maybe put some more firebreaks in the forests/woods. But none the less.

What makes this a giant waste of time for anyone not in the snake oil/global warming business is that the cause has been found. Arson, of course, caused by a boy playing with matches. Think the committee will even once mention that a kid with matches started the fires? Not a chance. Can't blame anyone but who or what they want to be the cause so they can make the money off of it, by promoting fear to a gutless Left Wing base. You'll remember the drunken "I was assaulted...oh wait, I was hammered" Randi Rhodes went so far as to accuse Blackwater of starting the fires out in California to feed her hapless colony of moonbats. These people are morons. Global Warming, President Bush, Blackwater, none of them had anything to do with the fires. The fires were caused by arson and spread rapidly due to over regulation of the forestry system in a far left state where they are still arguing amongst their eco-warriors why wind farms (which kill birds) should be scrapped completely even though it lowers the use of fossil fuels (which they say causes global warming). He's pushing this hearing through despite knowing that the fires were started by arson in order push forward an agenda that will make a person profit for him and so that no one questions his decision to blame global warming the second the fires started. Not only do I question their patriotism, I question their sanity.

The Left Wants to Blame Bush for the Califronia Fires Even Though It Was Arson

Really, is there anything they won't blame on Bush? The sun is setting....Damn you to hell George Bush! It's simply too amusing anymore due to the level of stupidity on the left to take anything they say about our President, or most anything, seriously. The cause of some of the fires was arson. When they catch the son of bitch(es) responsible, I hope they lock them up forever. My aunt lives out in San Diego, so yes, this does have some personal effect on me, but for some asshat to go out and do this intentionally when draught conditions were high, thereby guaranteeing mass chaos and devastation, it's simply evil. Additionally, "Global Warming" was not responsible, in case you missed that news flash, and was one of the first things the Left tried to blame this on. The Bush Bashing Mainstream Media (MSM) is in full Bush Derangement Syndrome (BDS) trying to compare this to Katrina and blaming this on National Guard members fighting for our security and liberating Iraq and Afghanistan from terrorist sociopathic thugs. Nobel Peace Prize A Complete Joke

Let's keep in mind that Hitler, Stalin, Castro, and Mussolini were all nominated for this prize at one point. This was again brought up during the whole Tookie Williams issue, when he was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize too, you remember him, gang leader, murder, etc. The fact that ManBearPig wins one not too long after Carter wins one is just another swirl in the long, spiraling irrelevancy of this award. Global Warming isn't even a consensus as much as we are told it is. Scientists who oppose this view are often ridiculed, much in the same way the Nazis ridiculed their opposition. Fascist tactics indeed. There a few article you should read in regards to this joke. First comes from the Herald Sun in Australia (you should note that every person who questions the Global Warming science is labeled far right-wing, another evidence of bias). Here's a snippet:

The world is looking for a free handout and they want the USA to fit the bill and that can't happen. I'm all for free trade, but innovation comes at a cost. Patents on technology help companies recover the cost of R&D while encouraging innovation by providing a means to be creative while having a safety net so that they do not simply fork over billions of dollars only to see nothing in return. Should that situation arise a great loss of jobs would occur and individual 401(k)s and investment would drop, resulting in a massive recession and/or depression. Peace, in this case, is the worldwide left waging open war on capitalism and President Bush. Gore did nothing to reduce standing armies. He did nothing to stop any ongoing wars. What about the Monks in Burma? What about the people trying to make a difference in Darfur? How many more examples are there. This is a joke plain and simple. If Hitler, Stalin, Castro, and Mussolini can be nominated for a peace prize, how seriously should it be taken anyway? Global Warming is a scam, and Al Gore and his compatriots are getting rich off of it, so hey, let's give him the award, increase the movement to invest in his and his buddies front companies while they consume more energy than the average man, woman, and small business and then complain about the person who drives 50 miles to work each day that they are an energy glutton. For those of you new to this concept, a "carbon credit" is basically your right to use any and all energy and carbon emitting device so long as you invest in the company that takes the carbon back out of the environment....want to guess who owns a sizeable share of all companies who offer this service? Why...it's Al Gore. So of course he wants a price on carbon, because the cost of using it goes to him. What a great scam Al. What a dick.

_Phaseout of the interest tax deduction on home mortgages for homes over 3,000 square feet. Owners would keep most of the deduction for homes at the lower end of the scale, but it would be eliminated entirely for homes of 4,200 feet or more.

So let's see, they are set to let President Bush's tax cuts (the only reason we are not in recession right...and which lead to an increase in government revenues due to re-investment) expire and let the tax-free Internet shopping provision expire. Both are major tax increases...the largest ever. They continually support more programs which will dwarf even these two ginormous mistakes through a back door socialized medicine program in SCHIP as well as their front door proposal in socialized medicine by promoting socialized medicine. I am truly terrified for our nation's future if these big-government, tax and spend, lying defeatists win. Ugh.

Al Gore...Saving the Planet on His Private Jet, Raping the Planet and Wallets

Really, this guy's chutzpah is just beyond me. First he claims that we are in the midst of the utter destruction of the Earth, and that in order to survive we need to cut down on those mean old "carbon emissions" and our electricity consumption, or purchase "carbon credits." Carbon Credits of course are how he's making alot of his money. By scaring people and guilting them into paying extra for using modern conveniences to the companies he has a financial stake in, when said company's profits go up, so does his. His mansion's energy consumption is comedy gold with how much he uses. His concern is also so much concerned about our doomsday and our raping of the planet that he flies around in private jets. Even as recently as two weeks ago...on one of the worst fuel consuming private planes available. So what is ManBearPig up to now? Well, he goes to one our strongest allies, Australia, and blasts Prime Minster Howard (who is a great man by the way) and demands $25,000 just for the honor of hearing him deride the average man and woman's energy use and basically call us stupid for using so much carbon before he whizzes away in his private jet back to his drug addicted son at his energy mammoth of a mansion. What an asshole.
