Another al-Qaeda Leader in Iraq Taken Out

Abu Yasir al-Saudi was the leader of the terrorist scum in Mosul, which has become a major flash point for the war, and was responsible for many atrocities against both US forces and Iraqi civilians:

Pay key attention to the last part of Rear Adm. Smith's comments. Syria has long been known as a path way for non-Iraqis, who are and have been the main portion of al-Qaeda in Iraq's fighters, to enter into Iraq to victimize civilians and attack our troops. The same can be said for Iran, who is training and arming terrorists from the other side of the nation. Which brings me to a greater point that needs to made. A great portion of the problems with Iraq are due to forces outside of Iraq. We are essentially fighting a proxy war with other terrorist states and "free agent" terrorist who devastating Iraq. The Iraqis themselves are coming together and fighting al-Qaeda, and further proof of internal and true Iraqi reconciliation can be found when you see Shiites, Sunnis, and Kurds, all calling for the withdrawal of Turkish forces from the Kurdish areas. While much debate can be had over the operations that the Turks are carrying out, in terms of Iraqi solidarity, it should not be overlooked that all factions within the nation denounce the activities as an invasion of the sovereignty. Indeed, the PKK needs to dealt with in an equitable fashion, but don't think for one minute that all factions in Iraq coming together with regard to this issue is some minor detail that should be overlooked.

UN Can't Put Two and Two Together to Save Their Lives

I'm not an isolationist by any means, but I would never, ever, surrender one ounce of our sovereignty to any entity, most especially the UN. First, the UN, to their credit I suppose has issued a new round of sanctions (yes, the third round, the first two of course had....no impact) on Iran for concealing their nuclear aspirations. However, when Ahmadinejad continually goes on and on about "radiating" soldiers from Iran smashing Israel and "wiping Israel off the map," you'd have to be pretty slow not to pick up exactly how big of a threat they are and that, in fact, their efforts are not peaceful. Many others as well as myself have continually talked about this subject. Even with these blatantly obvious truths about Iran in the plain view of the world, and with the Iranian backed terrorist organization, Hamas consistently firing hundreds of rockets at Israeli civilians, the U.N. condemns Israel for defending themselves against these terrorist strikes? The UN, if they want to maintain any appearance of not being painfully transparent anti-Israeli might at least want to show up and see the proof that the rockets being fired at Israel by Hamas were manufactured and delivered by Iran. Even as the international community says they want to take a "tough" stand against Iran, they go out of their way to blast Israel for engaging in the self defense tactics necessary for the their own survival against Iranian backed terrorist organizations who receive their funding and in some cases training from their Iranian overlords. They have dragged their feet and allowed Iran to develop faster centrifuges in their quest to develop a nuclear arsenal and are able to get most of the world to look the other way while they outsource their blood lust to terrorist groups.

Iran on Path To Nuke Israel Twice as Fast

...Due to their development of a more effective uranium refining centrifuge. It's beyond transparent what the Iranian regime is doing. Russia, under the leadership of Valdimir Putin, a "moderate" of course, is selling them nuclear fuel as it is, so how is it that certain parts of the international community have the audacity to deny what they are doing? This thing is going to come to a head at some point and it is not going to end in way that will at all be acceptable to all parties. Russia's profit generating experience in dealing with the Iranians will ensure that they will do their best to keep milking that cash cow, coupled with their assertion of threatening Ukraine, the Czech Republic, and Poland with their offensive nuclear arsenal, as well as their blaming the United States for the Kosovo situation, point to their complete and total support of the Iranian regime in the future. All this leads Israel into the most dire of situations. With Islamic radicals being increasingly backed by openly hostile nations who will in the near future have the means and will to drop weapons of mass destruction upon them, it becomes that much more important that the United States and other nations step up efforts to stop this reality from occurring (we most likely have less than one year).

Another Attempt at Israeli-Palestenian Peace and the Oh-So-Shocking Iran-Hamas Reaction

I suppose the new peace talks should be exciting news and a reason for optimism, and indeed it is, if you view it from one particular angle, which I will go over. MSM, of course, for their own political reasons, are not getting very excited over this, after all, what would happen if President Bush succeeded where Bill Clinton failed, and additionally, if President Bush were to pull this off, the MSM and Left Wing's collective heads would explode simultaneously. Nonetheless, here is what I mean by the one angle in which this may work.

Since Hamas won the elections in Palestinian controlled areas, tensions have been astoundingly highly, and the subsequent split of the Palestinian areas of the West Bank and Gaza have helped to fuel tensions amongst the Palestinian people as well as Israelis to a higher level. However, this rift in Palestinian control may actual help fulfill peace between Israel and the Abbas's Fatah, which controls the West Bank. Here's my rationale. Abbas has the backing of most of the Arabic states in the area, not Hamas, which is in control of the West Bank. Abbas also has the support of most Western nations, as there is simply no way that we will ever legitimize or support a terrorist organization so long as a Democrat is not in charge. Abbas also needs to gather support amongst all Palestinians against the terrorist organization that controls Gaza. This all adds up to an interesting recipe.

The scenario I see working is one where Abbas strikes a deal with Ohmert that garners concessions on both sides backed with aid from Western nations as well as Arabic nations. This would lead to more prosperous West Bank in relation to Gaza, where the population would demand that Hamas do something drastic to improve their situation, which of course they won't. Seeing some positive movements in a peace movement with Israel would turn the population against Hamas and allow for the first Palestinian-Israeli co-operation in being the restoration of true democracy to the Palestinian people. A very, very long shot indeed, but a possibility where Israel can get some points with the Palestinians and Abbas gains control of all Palestinian areas and successful defeats his Hamas rivals.

Perhaps this is why Hamas was so "shocked" when Arabic states backed the talks that are currently underway between Abbas's government and Olmert's government. A situation like the one I spelled out above would be a death blow to Hamas in Palestine, which of course, would further shun Iran from influence in the Mideast. Which is exactly why Iran has gone out and offered an "alternative" meeting to include the militants who are dedicated to achieving Iran's stated goals of Israel's destruction. Iran and Hamas do not want any progress on the peace front, to hell with all the human suffering that has for so long existed. So you see why this can work, and why Iran and Hamas are in a panic.

For further proof of their anti-Israeli, anti-American stance watch this video of a member of the Guardian new organization in Britain reporting on terrorist in the act of shooting rockets at civilians in Israel. Obviously reporting a terrorist act, which he had prior knowledge, the location, and the means of carrying out the act, trumped, oh say, saving the lives of innocent Israelis. So really, whose side are they on?

Hillary Clinton Must Be Stopped.....No Matter What the Cost

Just like Optimus Prime said in the cartoon Transformers Movie. Really, this hideous abomination of a woman is insane. I'm not linking alot of the moronic, Stalinistic things she has said over the last few days, what with the baby bonds, the government issued 401 (K) starters, the whole, "I have alot of ideas, which America can't afford crap." I will link the Sandy "Burgler" Burger thing though. Political payback of course, for helping secure Bill's legacy. The Norman Hsu thing I'm sure you already know. Perhaps that's linked to the renting of the Lincoln Bedroom? Lest we forget the Vince Foster murder/suicide? Whitewater? The fact is, she has been involved in so many political scandals I really won't mention them, or link them, at all, except to remind you of how her payback system works. You'll also recall the recent Bill Clinton blackmailing GQ over a slightly crtical article of Hillary (Google it...Rosie O'Donnell Style). However, let's stick to policy debates. Ugh. I could go on for days. We have to stop this nonsense forever. Sadly, the only respectable Democrat is Bill Richardson, and he is on the Clinton Payroll, so I guess he's not all that respectable after all. He'll be the Demo VP for sure. We have to beat her no matter what. I'd vote for a hockey puck before I'd vote for her, after all, at least the hockey puck would maintain America, not make us some pseudo-Socialist society.

Media Bias and Muslim Threats Rolled into One Convenient Package

I know I'm beating a dead horse and preaching to the choir as most of the readers here already know this, but occasionally we do get the independent reader who is a little enlightened by something I throw up here. So here we go. Today Muslim leaders signed a letter urging the Pope to acknowledge the similarities between Islam or Christianity because the fate of the world depends on it. Nothing in their letter suggests that they are willing to co-exist with Christians unless Christians acknowledge the greatness of Islam, the parallels (yes there are some with the actual texts) of the faith, lest we be faced with the destruction of the world. So does saying unless we capitulate with their demands or face eradication equate to an offer of peace? Of course not. That' s not how some wings of the media present it....of course. Here are two headlines and stories on this issue, one from Time, one from Fox News:

Muslim Leaders Warn Pope "Survival of World" at Stake

You already know which newsroom wrote which one. Liberal Time views this message as a peace offering. Fox, which really is fair and balanced, states the headline as it is. They did in fact write a letter warning that that the "Survival of the World" is at stake. What would be a true factual headline would be "Muslim Leaders Threaten Christians with Death if they Do Not Accept Second Class Status." Need I remind you why these "peace messages" are coming? First, let's not forget the Muslim death threats to the Holy Father for speaking a factual statement in September of last year. Then this September, the Holy Father spoke out again radical Islam and their anti-Christian ways. Again, this is factual stuff here, here's an excerpt from the Daily Mail, click on the text to explore further:

The Pope has again risked provoking the wrath of the Islamic world, by criticising its treatment of Christians.

Benedict XVI attacked Muslim nations where Christians are either persecuted or given the status of second-class citizens under the Shariah Islamic law.

Yes, that's human freedom there, the death penalty for leaving Islam, another shining example of Sharia. Research Sharia and really understand what this letter means. It's a threat plain and simple. What's really remarkable is Pope Benedict came out firing even harder, knowing his life is at stake, something that a true religious leader does. He spoke out on anti-Semitism, and Iran specifically at the World Jewish Congress:

The Pope attacked Iran as he pledged to help world Jewish leaders in their fight against anti-Semitism.

Pope Benedict XVI told leaders of the World Jewish Congress that Iran was “an issue of big concern” to him.

At a meeting at the Vatican, the Pope spoke of his concern about rising anti-Semitism and described how he wanted to use educational tools to counter the hatred of the Iranian leadership towards the Jewish people and Israel.

Maram Stern, secretary general of the World Jewish Congress, said after the audience: “We thanked the Holy Father for everything he did for the Jewish people, and more importantly what he will do.”

He continued on to recognize the threat of Iran. Incredible, kudos to the Holy Father. Rarely will you see me talk about prophecies or predictions, but this bears mention. What also should be examined is that an Iranian "moderate", Rasfanjani, who sadly would be more pro-USA and Israeli than almost anyone in the political environment in Iran, made this little gem of a news item today. Iran and Syria Are Spitting in the World's Collective Face

The stooges at Columbia University of course have their man crushes on hate spewing Iranian leaders, so let's start it off with the uber left Universities that aren't worth 1/1000th of their tuition. Remember when Columbia invited Death Ambassador Zarif there last year? How does a moonbat den one-up themselves after having one vocal, terrorist supporting, anti-Semite Holocaust denier speak on campus? After the uproar that came from the those of us with an IQ over that of your average inbred jellyfish? They invite the head vocal, terrorist supporting, anti-Semite Holocaust denying, "wipe Israel off the map", Apocalypse cult loving to come speak. Surprise, it's Ahmadinejad. I wonder how many standing ovations the Jewish hating faculty will give him? Even the students up there being spoon fed the idiocy of their professors have got to be pissed at them. (Side note, in two weeks Lafayette College, of which I am alumni, plays Columbia in football so I'm hoping they run the score up on those chumps).

Inviting Ahmadinejad to speak at a scholastic setting would be like asking Hitler to speak at a sensitivity training session. This is insanity at its best. Oh yea, it gets even worse. If NYC or Bush doesn't come around and throw this piece of trash in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean when he comes here to visit, he's going to try to make his way to Ground Zero to place a wreath, though I highly doubt it is for the true victims of 9/11. It's probably his way of honoring those 19 people who are burning in the bowels of hell. Outrage is a mild term here.

This news coming today as "Iran Draws up Plans to Bomb Israel". They claim they will only retaliate but are not hostile in any way. Of course they are not. They only threatened to unleash their FINAL RESPONSE ON OCTOBER 12TH. Sure they are probably just shooting off more flame throwing rhetoric, but Iran is the largest state sponsor of terror in the world, and have a stated goal of picking up where the Nazis left off. Here's a little sample of their statement today:

Of course we all know they have their nuclear aspirations are and driving for a nuclear weapon. It's really becoming more and more evident that their buddies in Syria is helping them in this effort, and hence the stepped up rhetoric after Israel destroyed nuclear material inside of Syria. However, that little tidbit I threw in there yesterday about remembering how there were alot of allegations about Saddam's WMDs winding up in Syria? Turns out these two nations are indeed sharing WMD technology. Turns out they had a little incident:

"The blast dispersed chemical agents (including VX and Sarin nerve agents and mustard blister agent) across the storage facility and outside," the publication quoted the sources as saying.

The magazine said that, in addition to the 15 Syrian troops, "dozens" of Iranian weapons engineers were killed.

Say isn't mustard blister agent, VX and Sarin exactly what Iraq had? Why are Iranian weapons engineers in Syria for anyway? They were fitting chemical warheads on ballistic missiles....all in the name of peace right?

Of course there is outrage that Israel has declared Gaza hostile. Gaza of course is home to Hamas, whose terrorist activities are well documented and would love nothing more than to eliminate the Jewish state and all of the Jewish people who live there. Here's the UN leader's take:

"Such a step would be contrary to Israel's obligations towards the population (of Gaza) under international humanitarian and human rights laws," he said.

Yes, defending themselves from an onslaught of rocket attacks and from an organization to finish off the Holocaust is a violation of "international humanitarian and human rights laws." Meanwhile, do we hear anything from Mr. Ban Ki-Moon about the most recent assassination of a prominent Christian leader in Lebanon who was anti-Syria?

Ghanem is the eighth prominent anti-Syrian figure assassinated since 2005, including three lawmakers from the majority, reducing the ruling party's margin in parliament.

Even when the anti-Syrian ex-Prime Minster from Lebanon was assassinated the UN was shockingly silent and the investigation has been blocked even though it's common knowledge that Syria did the killing. The UN is worthless and the escalation of violence that Syria and Iran are embarking upon is a prime example of why we need to stand tall in these dark times. I suppose we shouldn't hold our breaths for a condemnation of Iran after finding yet more Qods Forces members from Iran in Iraq. No apologies to be issued from the moonbats to Gen. Petraeus either I'm guessing.

What all this spells is that we are heading for a disaster or epic proportions in the very near future. With people like Pelosi and Kucinich on Syria's list of buddies and the rise of anti-Semitism among the UN member nations, as well as pretty much the whole world's complete and total fear of standing up to Islamic extremism, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out they will get bolder every day in their heinous actions. The real question is, do they go full out now or simply wait until the looming election disaster for our party and take complete and total advantage of the Democrat's ineptitude after they take charge, knowing full well that the Liberals can't stand to fight for what's right in the world?

Hats Off To Japan and a Note on Foreign Policy

I really do consider Japan to be our sister nation. The bond we have with Japan is remarkable considering the history we have them, with World War II and the Atomic bombing of two of their cities. It's amazing what can happen when you stand by a nation and help rebuild them after a devastating war while allowing them to grow their own democracy. I really do think that allegory should be drawn upon more in the current situations in Afghanistan and Iraq. That being said, Japan has been a remarkable ally, a nation so interlinked with us that our pop cultures are interfaced and our citizens are treated like nationals both at home and abroad for the both of us. Japan is currently leading a push to strengthen the Pacific Alliance between themselves and India, as well as with Australia, and the United States. China feels snubbed. Good, they should. Unless you live in a shell you know what is happening with Chinese products being so tainted as to essential create a situation where it is nearly necessary to avoid the Made in China label entirely. They have been moving to keep their human rights violations under wraps, have had a few slavery rings exposed, have silenced their own trapped miner situation, and thrown accusations at the United States about the quality of our own products in a futile attempt to get out of the spotlight. The alliance the Japanese seeks to strengthen revolves around "freedom, democracy, and human rights," none of which are exactly strong points for China. That's not to say they haven't improved, if only marginally, or that they will not improve greatly in the future, it's the truth. If the Chinese really wanted to engage the international community more they'd be a bit more transparent and honest as well as provide greater human rights to its own citizens. In fact, Japan has refers to its partnership with India as the "Arc of Freedom" another direct shot at the Chinese as it is well known that the Chinese aren't exactly sold on the idea of freedom, after all they censor their media at the government level (not just the political level as is done by our Leftists) from TV broadcasts to the Internet. Of course, it's not just in America that problems exist with what is being manufactured in China. However, there is one media conglomerate that seems to sympathize with the Chinese and have some animosity towards this new deal. The difference between a nuclear program in India and one in Iran of course is transparency, a willingness and an invitation to have the IAEA involved in the program as well as having their representatives present at all nuclear negotiations with rock solid evidence of all activities and purchases. Huge difference. However, I wish the Indians well in dealing with the moonbats of their nation. I also commend greatly the great nation of Japan. On another note, please note how the Liberals kept saying how horrible our relationships with other nations were with other countries that were traditional allies thanks to President Bush. I'd like to point out our relationship with France has not been this strong is a long, long, time, Germany, Britain, Japan, India, and Australia have never been closer and that President Bush has very good relationships with Canada, and for better or worse (because of the immigration insanity) a very close relationship with Mexico. He also seems to have a good report with the Russians despite their inching back towards their former roles during World War II, but for the issues of comparison the friendship between Putin and President Bush is not just based on that of alcohol and women like Yeltsin and Clinton.

How Much More Proof is Needed to Show Iran is in Iraq.

Really, it's out of hand that it's not being beaten down the world's throats right now. As we all know, President Bush did the right thing in pushing for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard to be correctly listed as a terrorist organization. Sure they deny doing anything in Iraq, but then again so does a three year old who is standing in front of you eating a cookie who says "I don't have a cookie." Let's just look at two examples here which for some reason are not getting the play in the media that it should seeing as how one of the leaders of Iran basically admits that the Revolutionary Guard is attacking Americans in Iraq. Here's the direct quote from Ayatollah Khatami:
"Whenever your enemy is saying something bad about an organization, it shows that the organization has been effective."
Hmmm. The organization has been effective you say, perhaps by training Shiite militias and supplying them with weaponry? He is all by saying, "So what," to the international community and the US in general. Secondly, lets look at another full proof piece of evidence of what Iran is up to. This article appeared in the Guardian of all places. In the northern part of Iraq where the Kurds reside, Iran is blatantly and viciously shelling villages. Here's a very important part of the equation:
"If this escalates it could pose a real threat to the Kurdistan region, which is Iraq's most stable area," said Mr Yawar, who said he expected the Iraqi government and US officials in Iraq to make a formal protest to Tehran about the "blatant violation of Iraqi sovereignty".
What makes this extremely important of course is the timing of the shelling and the increase of Iranian tactics in the south as well which are undermining the Iraqi government ahead of the Progress Report in September. While the Surge has been extremely effective, you can see almost instantly that now that violence is down and the Liberals in the United States are trying to move the goal posts and completely ignore the military successes in Iraq while trying to focus on the political nature of Iraq, Iran apparently is watching alot of CNN. Why do I say this? Well let's see, they have tried their tactics in the South and it is not working to their liking, but if they can bring a little turmoil to "Iraq's most stable area," the Democrats of course will jump all over this and continue their defeatist cries. Now the question is whether the Bush Administration can keep up the pressure and beat this information in the general public's heads that this is what is happening, a very daunting task indeed as we all know how far to the left the mainstream media resides.
